GOVERNOR HINDMARSH
ADELAIDE 2003
In June 2003 which is the winter season in Australia, Salmonella Dub from New Zealand played at the Governor Hindmarsh in Port RD Adelaide. This band is very popular world wide especially in Australia where there was a massive crowd that turned up to see them. The atmosphere was electric and Salmonella Dub certainly performed well. Tracks from their current CDs tore the place down and sent the crowd wild.
Also performing on stage was singer and producer Jesse Proverbs. He was the support act for Salmonella Dub along with The Irie Heights Band. They warmed up the show and performed very well. Jesse sang tracks from his new album called "Chapter and Verse" which sounded excellent. It was a lively set with the band sounded tight. Papa Kwesi sang one song and niced up the dance.
This was a great night with a noisy exciting vibes all round, a night to remember. Jah Trinity was the official video cameraman for Jesse's band. This was hard work as the crowd and friends bumped into me and wanted to make conversation while I tried to film the show live! Boy filming was hard work that night but fun.
