Drum & Bass @ Traffic,
Kenny Ken & Mc Foxy Plus Adelaide's D&B Crew
Friday 2nd April 2004
The Traffic Nightclub in Adelaide 's North Terrace, is home to Drum & Bass. Every week there are top notch D & B djs from the local area, interstate and international acts from abroad.
On Friday 2nd April 2004, Big Dog Records (dj MPK) "Loudly presented a Grand Jam with Kenny Ken and MC Foxy from Mix and Blen UK ; along with MPK, Noddy, Patch, John Doe, Harass, MC Xpress & G-Swift.
This was a totally BOOMBASTIC SESSION! With every dj and MC taking the night up to another level. Noddy kicked with his style and the crowd was rocking immediately. The various MCs made the vibes flow as MPK stepped up with tunes galore to set the dance alight. Xpress & G-swift on the Mic chatting tings right!
Then Patch stepped up the atmosphere on the decks.
By this time the crowd gone crazy! Well enter the man himself Mr. Kenny Ken along with MC Foxy both fresh from plenty of other venues around Australia. Well the crowd of ravers were well and truly pumped from all the DJs and MCs that were on before, so now they just went crazy for real! Ruff tunes man
I must say that personally this was one of the best Drum & Bass shows that I've attended, skanking all night long and losing a few kilos (I don't know where from but dem gone!!) The whole place was jumping from the start till the last tune finished sometime after 6 or 7 am . MC Foxy hot on the mic eh eh woy!
All I can say is bwoy what ah ssssesssionnn! LOVE dem style.
Can't wait for the next one. Respect to everyone who took part.
