Over in NEW ZEALAND The Motherland Collective will be holding another absolutely boombastic, SOUNDSPLASH Reggae Festival in the Wainui Reserve, Raglan, NZ on:
5th February 2005.
Featuring a whole heap of New Zealand talent, including sound systems and plenty of top bands and groups, plus special guests. There will also be a surfing competition down on the beach, so that's a double attraction to go there for that weekend! Infact I can tell you from the last time I went there to Sound Splash 2003 that it was truly inspirational to see so many families and friends that turned up from every part of NZ, from both North and South Islands.
The scenery at the venue is pretty spectacular and it over looks the sea at the top of the hill above the life saving club.
There are many more photos and stories of NZ Scenery 2003 to be featured on the 'Travel' section when I've managed to put them up soon!
I want to go to New Zealand again especially now that the airfares have become fairly cheap, due to the intensive price war between the airlines, "yeah take it down low take it down take it down lowww." I better book my flight from now. Freedom Air is a very good budget airline based in NZ with bright yellow planes and very friendly staff. Me and Jessie Proverbs flewin the front seats on the way back, courtesy of the head steward respek to dat!!
